Considering all the times my editor, beta readers, and I read Broken Angel you'd think there wouldn't be errors to find. WRONG! The whole time I was writing and editing my husband refused to read it until the final product was on the market.
Manuscript finished, I ordered a proof as a final precaution before sending it to print. I perused the pages making sure the chapter headings were in the right place and there weren't blank sections between chapters and called it good. That is when loving hubby asked to read it. I held my breath knowing he would be fair, but honest, and handed him the book.
After a half hour he returned, book in hand, asking if I'd meant to do thus and so. What? Gently handing my baby back to me, he pointed out one error, then another...OH MY GOSH!!! Six pairs of eyes had scoured these pages multiple times and finally deemed it finished. How could this be?
Long story short, I'm once again reading through Broken Angel marking errors. Soon everything will be corrected and I will return to the sequel, Broken Promise.
Life is good!
