My new computer's arrival was met with excitement, but led to frustration quickly. I was typing only to find that the curser had mysteriously moved to the middle of another paragraph causing a disruption in the writing flow which is not always easy to get back. Then there were the multiple pop ups of unrequested pages and html text. I tried to be careful of where my hands laid on the keyboard, but the aggravation persisted.
Last Friday my daughter came home with an iMac, the computer of my dreams. That was my wake up call. Why was I suffering with a "good enough" computer? It wasn't really cost effective considering I'd paid $600 two years ago and it hasn't worked satisfactorily in that time. Multiply 600 times 10, the average lifespan of an iMac, and I was saving money.
Saturday I came home with my own iMac and haven't regretted a moment of it :)
Life is good!
Oh yeah, anyone want a Toshiba, cheap? LOL
