First challenge was to download my precious story so I could peruse the many notes. Easy you say, NOT. My computer uses Windows 8.1 which showed the conversation bubbles, but not the internal changes and scribbles that were necessary for me to understand how to improve my writing. It came up fine on my husband's computer, but in a Microsoft Works of course not the program I have. Not to be out smarted by a simple program, I went to google and found they (Microsoft) have discontinued Works, but I tried to download something similar...and failed. Venting my frustration my daughter says, "Why not try downloading in PDF?" Duh...why didn't I think of that? Guess what, it worked!
It was nearly 11 before I was able to dive in and fully comprehend the many colors, squiggles, and notes. An hour later I was overwhelmed and tired so declared a nap was in order and zoned out.
It is now nearly 10 p.m.; I've successfully, perused the first couple pages and reworked a small part of that.
Hubby is in the next room and I feel as though I've ignored him enough. I'm calling it a night and going to spend some quality time with him. :)
Life is good!...
