Spent the morning with my youngest daughter and her Realtor looking at houses. I've always enjoyed looking at houses, imagining who lived there, what their lives were like, why they moved...the list of consideration can be exhausting, but that is what stirs my imagination.
Anyway, my daughter did find a nice house in a quiet family neighborhood that will meet her needs very well. Downside, someone has already made an offer. So now we wait to see if it will be accepted. Have I mentioned I'm not into waiting games? lol
Two hours later I came home excited to write the last couple scenes of "Daeris" then begin the task of revising. Alas, that was not to happen. I sat with my computer poised to write when my mind went blank. Great! Now what? With a sigh I pulled up my free write page and played with several options until one felt right.
Finally, ready to pound out an amazingly riveting ending that would make my readers beg for more...when family returned home and well, that's all she wrote...literally. Oh well, tomorrows another day :)
